GASTRONOMY

The gastronomy elaborated in our population is typical mediterranean.

Countries bordering the Mediterranean enjoy a microclimate that makes them different from the rest of the world, humidity, prolonged hours of sunshine, their benign climate and the fertility of their lands give a great variety to the fruits that are collected, which gives to the inhabitants of the place the privilege of a non-subsistence economy and consequently a refinement in the culinary aspect. The result is the processing and transformation of the products offered by our orchard. Our village has typical dishes and sweets: rice, rice in the oven, coconuts with calfó, bonito in the oven, grilled meat, espencat with pepper, tomato and eggplant, rotllets d'anís, canned coca, coca de peas and tomato and puchero.

The recipes of all these dishes and sweets are simple, easy to make.
