The route crosses the channels of Arab origin that brought the water to the fields and to the water mills. Some of these buildings have been renovated for tourist use such as el Molí Canyisset. Others have disappeared altogether (Molí Primer or Molí Roig) and some are still preserved after many years of disuse (Molí Boleda, Molí d'Arròs or Molí de la Foia).
